Tutorial on How to Turn Markers into Calligraphy Pens

In today’s era it is no stranger to the word lettering or calligraphy because almost every day we use this type of font. Lettering is the art of writing in thick, thin writing that is made of more than one stroke. Making this type of font is made using a pen brush, but pen brushes are more expensive than markers. Therefore, here I want to explain how to make a pen brush with markers at a more affordable price.

The thing that needs to be prepared before making calligraphy or lettering is to prepare a writing pad in the form of paper and writing tools that we think are comfortable to use. Here I will explain how to make a pen brush using markers that are easy to make.

To change the marker into a thin thick calligraphy marker we only need to thin the tip of the marker, then cut 1 side of the marker tip slightly tilted with a cutter. Then cut the opposite side until it looks really thin.

Cut the ends or flatten the ends at a slight angle. The pen brush made of markers is ready to use and the writing that is created is not inferior to the calligraphy pen, which is more expensive.
